Concordia Deaconess Conference Assessment

This website assessment is for Concordia Deaconess Conference site http://concordiadeaconess.org/. It was done by Luthernet Website Services in order to help those who run the program see what can be done to spread their message more efficiently.

Framework
This website is built using Wordpress, which means it is created to have properly archived articles that can be indexed and searched.

Mobile-Friendly
This website is mobile-friendly, meaning people can access it properly on mobile devices.

Other Issues
Often, I won't look twice at a website that meets the Framework and Mobile-Friendly categories, but I felt like I had to say something about Concordia Deaconess Conference's website. I was surprised that it was mobile-friendly because it just looks old and sad. The title is http... instead of the name of the organization, the slider, frames, and menu buttons all look like something that crawled out of Microsoft Frontpage. The News Blog only has two articles, and one links to a pdf, making it less searchable. In fact, the advantages of having a Wordpress website are lost on this incarnation.  Sporadic updates and newsletters make an organization look defunct.
