Framework
This website is made with Wordpress, which is a CMS, and that's generally good. While I cannot tell exactly which version of Wordpress this is, I can see that it's built with PHP 5.3, and that might be limiting what can be done with the website. My current sites are on PHP 5.6 or above, and those that I've built on PHP 7 are generally faster. The website is using a modernish theme, which is why I almost passed it up when looking for Lutheran websites that need help, but Google told me a different story based on whether or not it's mobile-friendly.
Mobile-Friendly
The Luther Park Community website is not mobile friendly, which affects Google rankings and ease of use for more than 50% of the people who are looking for information about the services. Here's what Google said about the website:
- Viewport not set
- Text too small to read
- Clickable elements too close together
- Content wider than screen
Other Issues
The latest article on the main page is from May of 2016, which makes it seem like nothing has happened since then. One way to avoid this perception is to not publish the date on the article.
At least a couple of the menu items have no articles associated with them. These need at least a placeholder article in order to seem updated.
The Contact page uses a contact form and phone numbers. The contact form should be tested once in a while to make sure it's working, but it's a good idea in order to avoid spam.
Overall, there's a lot of content. That's good, but it's also very important to fill all pages and have newer content so that search engines still regard the website as relevant.
