This website assessment is for Capstone Ministries site http://capstoneministries.org/. It was done by Luthernet Website Services in order to help those who run the program see what can be done to spread their message more efficiently.
Framework
Capstone Ministries appears to be on Wordpress. Howevever, my resources say it's a Wordpress 3.5 website running the default theme, which places the last update of the framework in 2012. Knowing Wordpress, there are security issues with keeping this old site going. "Proudly Powered by Wordpress" at the bottom is a real calling card for hackers.
Mobile-Friendly
Apparently, the default Wordpress theme called Twenty Eleven was mobile-friendly. Well, kind of. It's more what we would have called "responsive." It will squeeze to be skinny, but there's no separate mobile menu.
Other Issues
Monthly newsletter rather than content for website means Google isn't finding the articles as well as it should. Email addresses rather than contact forms mean spammers are sending website owners many daily emails.
